How do returns, exchanges, or warranty claims work?

If you are not satisfied with a product purchased from us or the item does not fit, you may of course return it within 14 days to the address listed above. If you would like to exchange an item, simply return it and place a new order. We are also happy to assist you in the event of a warranty or defect claim. Please send us an email with photos of the defect to: hi@root-atelier.com

Please note that we can only accept unused items in their original packaging. Make sure not to remove tags or soil the items. Returned goods must show no signs of wear.

Women’s Swimwear: The hygiene protection strip must still be attached.

Please do not send items postage due or uninsured! The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using insured shipping with a tracking number. Please request a proof of return and keep it safe in case you need to verify your return.

If your product shows defects or faults, we appreciate a short note describing them as precisely as possible.

Once your return has arrived at our logistics center, it will be processed accordingly.

Please note that this process may take up to two weeks. Refunds for orders paid via bank transfer will be credited to your bank account. For PayPal orders, the refund will be issued to your PayPal account. For orders paid by direct debit or credit card, the refund will be initiated to the respective payment account you used. The refund process may take up to 10 days and is beyond our control. If you encounter any issues, please contact us directly.

Information on Warranty and Guarantee

The warranty period is 24 months from the date of delivery of the goods. It covers defects in materials or workmanship but excludes damages caused by normal wear and tear or improper use.

Beyond the statutory warranty provisions, no additional guarantees are provided for the delivered goods or services, unless an explicit written guarantee has been granted.

Special Notes

Your right of withdrawal, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions, expires prematurely if the contract has been fully performed by both parties at your express request before you have exercised your right of withdrawal.
